As a Valet Associate at the Emergency Department, Jasmine has earned a reputation for her calm, people-first approach. She supports patients and visitors alike, helping them feel informed and cared for even in high-stress situations.
Her outstanding service recently caught the attention of Cathleen Puodziunas, Experience Coordinator at ECU Health, who shared Jasmine’s impact:
“She has been incredibly helpful since starting. She is always willing to bring patients or visitors in and lets us get them situated before asking them about moving cars around. She makes sure that visitors know before they enter if we are at capacity for visitation and that they may not be able to wait with their patient.”
During a recent team meeting—following a session focused on compassionate, patient-centered care and effective communication—Jasmine was awarded a Certificate of Excellence from ECU Health, recognizing her initiative, empathy, and outstanding service.
Cathleen added:
“Those little things take a lot of weight and stress off of us when we are busy! I just wanted to make sure that she got the recognition she deserves.”
